I get a tight, heart-skipping feeling in my chest every time I listen to a great song. Certain songs can still do this to me after years and years. If I am having a bad day or just need a quick mood booster, I know that this life-is-beautiful feeling is only a song away. I get the same feeling when my 6’3” boyfriend Shawn engulfs my 5 foot frame in his arms, the feeling that everything in the whole world is perfect, if only for a second.
